Polymer Titanium Ligating Clips

Surgical clips called polymer titanium ligating clips are employed during surgery to ligate, or tie off, blood arteries or other structures. Polymer and titanium are combined to create them, giving them both strength and flexibility. Laparoscopic surgery, a minimally invasive surgical procedure that employs small incisions and specialised devices to perform surgeries, frequently uses polymer titanium ligating clips. Special clip applicators can be used to apply these clips, enabling the surgeon to do so accurately and securely. These have the advantage of being less prone to elicit an inflammatory reaction than conventional metal clips.
